Previous Name: Victor Von Doom

Past Life Information: He's the Destroyer of Worlds, maker of Doombots (that's robots who look like him) and holder of the most ridiculous grudge. Born in a Romani camp outside Latveria, Doom devoted himself to both magic and science to avenge his (admittedly quite tough) childhood. He went to college in New York, where he met Reed Richards and instantly disliked him. They were near intellectual matches and total rivals, and when a machine he built exploded and scarred his face and got him expelled, he blamed Reed. And never stopped blaming Reed. He got some armor from some monks, overthrew the Latverian leadership made himself a king, and embraced a villainous path: he wouldn't rest until he a) took over the world and b) destroyed Reed Richards and his Fantastic Four.

Personality: Alistair believes in Alistair above all others. He isn't very trustworthy and he isn't very kind, but he does believe that he has immense gifts to give the world, and that might, sometimes, manifest as a superiority complex. He's very smart and isn't very good at laughing off jokes about himself. He was scouted to be a model once and he did a photoshoot for a local art magazine but he was bored by it but also he looked amazing. (Loved the attention). He isn't kind but he is practical and that tends to mean he believes just helping someone is the quickest way out of a crisis. He isn't warm, he is moody, he does feel things deeply, but he doesn't want you to know that.
Background: Alistair's parents are surgeons. He likes them but they worked so much during his childhood the entire family never really gelled; they're not a strong support system for each other. Maybe Alistair went into medicine because he thought it would encourage warmth from them, but it hasn't really worked. That's why he left the UK for the US -- they'll never follow, and they don't have to pretend to be a real family. He's been in New Orleans for five years, and he's decided he likes it.
